Transforming Lives Forever

Wow, what an amazing start to 2011! At the beginning of January three beautiful little girls joined the family; Joyce, Juliet and Yvonne. We had been waiting in anticipation for the moment that we could welcome them in and we cannot describe the relief we now feel in knowing that they are safe. Prior to coming into our care Joyce, Juliet and Yvonne had all been taken in by a social worker, due to being the most vulnerable cases in their rural parish. These girls have all come from horrendous places of neglect, vulnerability, abuse and severe poverty. This may be their past but Joyce, Juliet and Yvonne all have an amazing future. The young girls are being loved back to life, treated with a kindness that they always deserved, and their little hearts are being restored.

Excitement also rippled through Koinonia as the boys welcomed in Brian, age 12. Tragically Brian lost both of his parents, leaving him deserted with no one to care for him. Providing young ones, like Brian, with security, protection, love, food and hope is truly the greatest privilege. Here at the Kenyan Children’s Project we commit to pouring in value, love and resources into these children that deserve more.
